Good morning, today the final adventure begins. You will be given individual clues which I will post. There will be a total of ten clues each. Remember to record your answers because the clues may disappear. If you need a hint let me know. I will be available through e-mail and my cell via text at 471-7939. Have fun!

Let the Adventure Begin

Welcome to the Amazing Final your adventure begins today. You will be travelling to 10 countries in the next week. You must wrap up your adventure by Monday April 30th when you will report on your journey. Do not wait until the last minute to begin the adventure or you may run into roadblocks. Everyone will start in North America then travel to your next destination. Watch for clues, remember you will need to identify the country and then perform three tasks.

European Vacation

Spring break is only weeks away and you are planning a European vacation. Visit this site to plan your trip http://www.visiteurope.com/home.aspx. You want to see as much as you can when you are there. The questions listed below will help you with your plans. Have fun!

Atlas Overview

Australia Atlas Assignment

Due: Monday March 26, 2012

There are several maps of Australia and Oceania in your atlas. Each map provides information on one or more geographical components. From the maps on page 216 to 217 select two maps. Write a paragraph about each of the maps. The paragraph should include the topic of the map, the information the map is portraying and some of the information you are able to derive from the map.

Your paragraphs must be written in proper form with a topic sentence, supporting details and a concluding sentence. You will only write one paragraph for each map.

Assessment: Each paragraph is worth a possible 35 points

Map Selection: 5 points

Content: 20 points

Paragraph Structure and Grammar: 10 points
